MOON SKIPPER
A mobility that liberates life on the Moon
Half a century has passed since humanity first set foot on the Moon, and lunar exploration is now entering a new phase focused on long-term habitation and commercial utilization. While many lunar mobility concepts currently under research and development are approached primarily from a technological perspective, proposals that foreground the user experience remain limited.
This project explores a new vision of lunar mobility that integrates movement with diverse lifestyles—such as living, tourism, and creative activities—and proposes future user experiences that enable a more free and flexible way of life on the Moon. Through design processes including collaboration with AI and the use of VR for interior studies, this research also presents experiential representations of future lunar living, realized through physical mock-ups and virtual interior spaces recreated in VR.
