Pas Frames
A proposal for an athletic facility that incorporates ballet movements to promote physical and mental well-being.
"Pas Frames" is a design proposal addressing the mental health challenges faced by Japanese society by promoting physical and mental well-being through the joy of movement. The project is set at Mitsui Outlet Park Yokohama Bayside, utilizing the unique, extraordinary characteristics of an outlet mall to create an engaging space where visitors can enjoy physical activity. At the heart of the proposal are "frames"—athletic structures inspired by ballet movements. Designed to be safe and accessible for a broad range of users, including beginners and families with children, these frames naturally encourage hand and foot movements. This fosters a dancing experience that promotes self-expression and emotional release. By connecting the joy of movement with mental well-being, this proposal aims to create a new form of community and enhance both physical and mental health.
