Corners of Sharing

A Circle of Comfort and Connection
This study aims to revitalize regional communities and foster connections and a sense of security through ""sharing."" The target area, Towa Ginza Shopping Street in Adachi Ward, was once a place where local residents frequently met and naturally interacted. However, the decline of the shopping street has weakened community ties. This proposal seeks to redefine the boundaries of the shopping street and, under the theme of ""sharing,"" promote the sharing of six key elements: space, time, goods, knowledge, mobility, and experiences. By doing so, it aims to encourage the natural regeneration of communities. The goal is to cultivate a sense of security throughout the region, where people feel ""there is someone nearby to rely on"" and""they are not alone,"" ultimately achieving a sustainable community that transcends generations and backgrounds.
