Port Park

Proposal for the formation of a new local community in a car-oriented society, using the renovation of the civic gymnasium as an opportunity to create a new community.
This is a study of urban decline in a rural city in a car-oriented society. I propose a space that promotes interaction among local communities, local resources, and people. I want to design a space that connects park visitors to the local community of Ota City, creating a sustainable circle of interaction.
